Puff Daddy or Diddy or whatever he’s going by these days has decided to invest in a chauffeur service to stop stars from drinking & driving, reports The New Zealand Herald.

We’re well aware of the craziness that ensues at those high-profile celebrity events, and according to Diddy’s spokesperson, “after partnering with Ciroc vodka, he wants to make sure everyone’s partying responsibly.” I’m sure his mother would be proud.

The rapper’s incentive for creating the in-the-works assistance? “Making sure nobody gets arrested!”

Whether wine, cars or works of art, it would appear that the older the item the more appealing. Even the more mature Hollywood stars have the edge on their younger counterparts. In a recent pole held by Hello Magazine in which an amazing 176,673 votes were cast, it was the likes of Kiefer Sutherland, Daniel Craig and Hugh Laurie who walked away as the reader’s choice of the hunkiest guys in showbiz.

As celebrities packed up their precious belongings and flocked to the Four Seasons Hotel to escape raging wildfires, television shows had production disrupted.

“All I see is smoke,” Kelsey Grammer, who was evacuated from his Malibu home, tells E! Online, “but we’re okay. We’re safe. We got the dog, we got the kids.”

Former Lost hottie, Michelle Rodriguez is going to jail.

She will serve 180 days in LA County Jail. In addition, Michelle has completed almost three full days of CalTrans cleanup work on the side of the road. No word yet as to whether she got fashion tips from Naomi Campbell.

Rodriguez was on probation for a variety of crimes, including DUI and hit and run. Of course, she has plenty of company in Hollywood these days, including Kiefer Sutherland, Vivica A Fox, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears…. isn’t it boring just naming these morons? Just ask Kiefer Sutherland how its done and he’ll tell you its easy! Consume copious amounts of alcohol, until you have twice the legal amount coursing through your veins, drive a car, and then do an illegal ‘U’ turn right under the noses of pursing police officers. Easy! Job done!

What does Kiefer Sutherland have in common with Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie? He has become an ever so trendy D.U.I. repeat offender.

The “24”star is on the verge of serving a 48 day prison sentence after pleading no contest to charges that he was driving under the influence after a night of partying in Los Angeles

The biggest problem with this of course is the fact that the actor was already on probation. As a result Kiefer will serve 30 days for the offense and an additional 18 days for the probation violation.

DU I-Wish-I-Had-Hired-a-Driver

As if we haven’t heard enough celebrity DUI cases lately, here’s another one! Voluptuous tough-as-nails actress Vivica A Fox has recently entered the Hollywood hall of fame of drunk & disorderly conduct.

According to People magazine, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant was arrested last March (and they’re just now dealing with it) by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence. Fox, who sent her attorney to the Superior Court Thursday rather than attending herself, has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts (the second pertaining to her .08 blood-alcohol level stupor.)

Oh Kiefer, you of all people!

Its as regular as the sun rising these days. Every week a celebrity is caught on a DUI charge and this week is no exception. This week it’s the turn of the son of actor Donald Sutherland and the star of 24, Kiefer Sutherland. Forty year old Sutherland plays the invincible Jack Bauer in 24 but found himself not so invincible when he was stopped by police on September 25th.
