Although Katharine McPhee was ditched by her record label last week she was quickly snapped up and is no longer on the market. As a girlfriend that is, not a performer.

This weekend the wedding bells rang out, hopefully in tune, for the American Idol runner up from Simon Cowell’s show’s 5^th season when Katharine married a man almost twice her age. Nick Cokas is a record producer who met Katharine in 2005 even before she had auditioned for Idol that year, and the couple were engaged last year.

Conan O Brien & Jay Leno Return to Late-Night

Late-night funnyman Conan O Brien spent Monday afternoon incognito while strolling down the streets of NYC with a hot cup of Starbucks. The soon to be infamous strike between the WGA and AMPTP is now into it’s fifth day, ladies and gents. Here’s a question for all of you though, have we really seen any big names in Hollywood come out to support the writers that support them? So far, we’ve seen a few, such as Eva Longoria who handed out pizzas to the writers and Jay Leno who bought donuts. What good will snacks do? Are the celebrities really trying to buy the writers back with fatty foods? Lame!
