Hayden Panettiere may play a hero on television, but in real life she’s just a regular teenager on a mission to save the dolphins.

While Lindsay Lohan used to prefer attending the hottest Hollywood bash and Vanessa Hudgens strips down for the masses on her iPhone, little Hayden is attempting to make a big difference.

An arrest warrant was issued in Japan for Hayden because of her dolphin saving crusade last month. Hayden doesn’t seem to be playing the fugitive, calling the warrant “defensive.”

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere proved this week that she is a hero not just on the hit NBC series but also in real life. She recently traveled to Japan in an effort to save the dolphins.
