David Beckham Gives J.T. a Run for HIS Money

Yes Justin Timberlake is working with a full set, shall we say, but can he pull off something like this??

On Wednesday afternoon hundreds of eager young ladies lined up outside Macy’s department store in downtown San Francisco for the unveiling of Becks’ latest contribution to Emporio Armani Underwear.

The wickedly sexy larger than life ads - that will hit billboards around the world including Los Angeles, New York, London, Rome, Milan, Paris and Tokyo - are part of Beck’s three-year contract with Armani. Yum!

Mariah’s Marshmellows to the Rescue

mariah_carey_perfume.jpgThe name isn’t all that creative, and the idea isn’t really all that great, but Mariah Carey’s new perfume (called “M” - like we said, not that creative), is helping Arden - the company bankrolling the scent - sell, sell sell.

Arden, which is also known for its celeb perfumes by the likes of Britney Spears, Hilary Duff and Liz Taylor, had been struggling to make sales goals until the launch of “M.”

Guess it’s good to know Mariah can still sell something …

Milan Fashion Week Takes a Detour with Beyonce

Armani says he’s “Beyond Trends,” or is it “Beyonce Trends?”

“ Beyond Beyonce?”

Anyway … Giorgio Armani used the gorgeous fashionista/singer/superstar/hottie to peddle his trends (ahem **pieces,** since the line apparently is now above “trends”) on the runway in Milan this week. Specifically, Beyonce opened the show, crooning “Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend” in front of a backdrop advertising Armani’s new perfume.

We touched on this in an earlier post concerning Milan fashion week – but what’s up with designers essentially using their runways as ad space? Of course there’s a little mix and mingle no matter what way read more ....
