Christian Bale Detained for Allegedly Striking Family

“If everyone really knew what a jerk I am in real life, I wouldn’t be so adored in the slightest.” Perhaps we should have taken Mr. Bale’s words to heart, as he was arrested for assault in London today.

The 34-year-old’s mother and sister are claiming that he lashed out at them on Sunday while staying at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel. The accusations were handed to the Hampshire police who then submitted it to the London coppers.

Peace For Heath. Heath Ledger’s Death WAS an Accident!

Two weeks after the sudden and sad death of Heath Ledger the New York Medical Examiner’s office has released the following statement, “Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine,” the office said in a statement.

“We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications.”

Heath Ledger, 28, renowned for his role as a gay cowboy in the 2005 movie Brokeback Mountain, was found dead in bed at his Manhattan apartment on January 22nd 2008.

Zoink! Bam!… It’s Batman!

The creature of the night returns! Another darker version of the blockbuster family Batman is set to come out next summer…Zoink!

Now I’ve followed the crusader from day one (no, I’m too young for the original T.V. series, although I did catch them on re-runs as a kid), and I must say, I’m SUPER excited that this superhero is coming outta the bat-cave to kick some villain a$$!

Mc-Hottie Christian Bale is playing Batman again and guess what…this time he’s facing The Joker (played by Heath Ledger)! Will Ledger’s performance stand up to the one given by Jack read more ....

Yuddy Paints the Town: I’m Not There Concert

Jack Nicholson may be furious with Heath Ledger for stealing his role in the new Batman movie, but we just have one thing to say to Heath… “Take out your gum, man!”

The dashingly disheveled actor was on hand the other night at the fabulous I’m Not There Bob Dylan tribute concert in NYC, sporting his trademark I’m-scruffy-but-cute look as he introduced a few of the acts. Someone must have told him about his snapping gum reverberating throughout the Beacon theater after his first appearance - the second time we got a glimpse of him he seemed to have spit read more ....

Yuddy on the Town: “I’m Not There” Bob Dylan Celebration Benefit Concert

We’re so there!

The upcoming Bob Dylan film I’m Not There promised to be amazing — the buzz is that Cate Blanchett’s an Oscar shoe-in (what’s new?) for her portrayal of the man behind The Tambourine Man. The great Cate of course is joined on-screen by Christian Bale, Richard Gere, and Heath Ledger, among others — all portraying the legendary singer-songwriter.


Since we just can’t wait until the movie hits the big screen we’re excited about an awesome concert in NYC next week- I’m Not There: In Concert. A host of our time’s greatest artists will perform Dylan’s music. The read more ....
