Yes her 2007 Video Music Awards performance was a tad sloppy, but as the president of MTV Networks Music Group put it - “Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right?”

The Associated Press, who spoke with Van Toffler via telephone on Friday, raised the question of whether or not Miss Spears would be making a second appearance at this year’s sizzling celebration. After receiving the relatively optimistic response above, the news outlet asked Toffler if he was merely joking, to which he ambiguously replied “sorta.”

Bring on the Spongebob Squarepants DVDs and Tonka Trucks as Britney Spears was granted overnight visitation with her boys!

Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 21 months, are set to spend Saturday evening in the care of their mother thanks to Tuesday’s closed-door hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Present at the hush-hush meeting was Britney’s parenting coach, who made declarations before the court, and undoubtedly helped the recovering singer look good.

Details have not officially been released, but sources told TMZ.com and People that Commissioner Scott Gordon approved the overnight request.

There’s another Spears girl in the world today!

Sister of Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn, 17, has given birth to a baby girl at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi.

Jamie Lynn and baby father, Casey Aldridge have apparently named their 7 lb 11 oz baby, Maddie Briann and now with ‘baby making three’ the couple intend to marry following their engagement in March this year.

Lets hope that becoming a mother sees Jamie Lynn becoming more like new mother Nicole Richie, rather than her older sister Britney!

PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals - has a history of launching scathing attacks on some of today’s top stars.

 Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Madonna have each been caught up in disputes with the rigid organization, and now it appears that the baton of shame is being passed to Miss Jessica Simpson!

The “B.O.Y.” singer recently donned a T-shirt exhibiting the catchphrase ‘Real Girls Eat Meat,’ which naturally infuriated the association.

UK newspaper The Daily Mail has found some, what it would believe is, incriminating evidence that Britney Spears is pregnant, yet again!

As Britney left an L.A. restaurant on Monday there was the obligatory snapper ready to catch her every move and lo and behold the pap just happened to catch her with her dress billowing out over a rather well stuffed tummy.

Aiming for a fresh start and just a smidge of privacy, Miss Britney Spears is on the hunt for a new place to call home.

According to The Daily Mail the Pop star has given serious consideration to putting her Hollywood Hills mansion on the market, in order to take up residence at a gated community in the San Fernando Valley.

The neighborhood located in Calabasas - home to numerous celebrities including Travis Barker of Blink 182 - is so incredibly secluded that there are actually two sets of gates surrounding the property.

Well it looks like our little train wreck Britney Spears has finally got herself back on the road (literally) to recovery, and what a conscientious celebrity she has become over the past few months while under the care of daddy Jamie Spears!
