Following the death of Heath Ledger in January this year from a mix up in his medication it now appears that a similar situation has occurred to Grammy winning singer songwriter, Amy Winehouse as she was rushed to hospital yesterday to receive emergency treatment for a adverse reaction to ‘medication’.

Amy was taken by stretcher to a local A & E department from her Camden home on Monday night with her devastated father watching. Paramedics had been called by Mitch after his daughter reportedly collapse suffering an episode of ‘fitting’.

Amy Winehouse proved that the need for, well, speed can supply one with oodles of superhuman strength.

The rehabber was talking to her father Mitch outside her north London home prior to Tuesday’s incident. The two must have gotten into a sizeable row as Amy eventually began to hiss and spit like a fuming feline.

In front of 80,000 concert goers at the Glastonbury Festival this past weekend, Ms. Amy Winehouse completely lost her cool and planted a decent wallop on an unsuspecting fan.

The episode occurred moments before she was set to perform her legendary mega hit, “Rehab.”

Despite the fact that she isn’t exactly fit as a fiddle, Amy Winehouse will indeed be performing at Nelson Mandela’s 90^th b-day bash in Hyde Park on Friday night.

Rather than taking advantage of the fact that she hasn’t been infected with this deadly disease, Amy Winehouse pulled the ultimate no-no by lighting up!

On Tuesday the beehive’s spokespeople set the record straight concerning the colossal emphysema scare, which was first brought to our attention last week.

Though she has been cleared of both tuberculosis and the previously mentioned virus, rep Chris Goodman said that the singer has developed a “scarring of the lungs which could lead to emphysema.”

Seldom photographed without a cigarette hanging from her mouth, once again Amy Winehouse has made the headlines in the UK newspaper, Sunday Mirror, where her father reported that the mystery illness that had put his daughter in the hospital late last week was in fact the beginning stages of Emphysema.

Amy Winehouse - who is still undergoing tests at a London clinic after collapsing on Monday -has been cleared of the lethal virus known as tuberculosis.

Many UK publications are claiming that the singer has been coughing up blood due to “contracting” this horrifying disease, but luckily her rep has dismissed these statements as pure hearsay.
