Apparently, you no longer have to be gorgeous to be Miss Golden Globe.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced on Wednesday that Rumer Willis will be their 2008 reigning queen.

Wow. I hope she gets her chin ground down by Dr. 90210 before then.

The Golden Globes are airing January 13th on NBC.

The name isn’t all that creative, and the idea isn’t really all that great, but Mariah Carey’s new perfume (called “M” - like we said, not that creative), is helping Arden - the company bankrolling the scent - sell, sell sell.

Arden, which is also known for its celeb perfumes by the likes of Britney Spears, Hilary Duff and Liz Taylor, had been struggling to make sales goals until the launch of “M.”

Guess it’s good to know Mariah can still sell something …

Britney’s new fragrance ad is being accused of being too good to be true. The pop princess-turned-basket-case is making another move (lurch?) toward somehow trying to resurrect her career. Sadly, what she’s hoping will help her image and brand may actually end up hurting the label that’s behind this latest re-invention. Britney’s newest creation is Believe, a perfume sold under the Arden brand. It follows Curious, Fantasy, and In Control released in previous years.

Keira Knightley has seemingly been taking her commitment as Chanel’s new girl pretty seriously. She’s been snapped recently in some of the label’s newest, hottest togs. Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting)” could have been Rosie ODonnell’s anthem this past weekend. While vacationing with her partner Kelli Carpenter in South Beach, Florida, the former “View” co-host got into a spat with a biker!
