britney-spears THE CHILD.jpg
From cute little Mousketeer to a young women on the edge of despair, in the depths of depression and completely bewildered. That seems to be Britney Spears’ young life in a nutshell.

But as we all wait with baited breath, fingers poised to write the next deprecating blog and to hear of her latest disaster, let us not lose sight of the fact that this ‘child’ has given so many people an immeasurable amount of pleasure over the past 10 years with her concerts, singles, albums and her well rehearsed and polished dance routines.

Brad Pitt to Rebuild New Orleans?

In a recent interview with Larry King, Brad Pitt muttered something about his feelings on acting as being along the lines of, ‘it’s become less and less a focus as I get older, I think it’s really more of a younger man, younger woman’s game.”

So, not making any attempt at all to ‘act’ like a construction worker by donning a flat cap, a dirty t shirt and appearing with several days stubble on his face, Pitt, 44, went on to try and convince Larry’s audience that his primary goal in life is to read more ....

Annie Says: Jordan Launches a Perfume, or: Yawn of the Week

Posted under Free for All & Paris Hilton & Gwyneth Paltrow & Jennifer Lopez & Beyonce & Annie Says & Celine Dion & Mariah Carey & Elizabeth Taylor & Jordan

Its not a new idea. Audrey Hepburn had a perfume on the cosmetic counters half a century ago, and Elizabeth Taylor’s “White Diamonds” launched in 1991 and became a huge success. So why in a period of 50 years can’t celebrities come up with something a little more original?

But now we have Celine Dion, Beyonce, Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Sarah Jessica Parker and not forgetting Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Pleasures Delight” which sounds more like something on offer in a Thai massage parlour than a perfume, all offering us the chance to smell like, well read more ....

Annie Says: Do We Ever Fall Far From The Tree? (Celebrity Parents, Fallen Stars and Scary Babies)

Posted under Free for All & Paris Hilton & Lindsay Lohan & Britney Spears & Celeb Couples & Michael Jackson & Amy Winehouse & Lohan Parents & Tom Cruise & Pamela Anderson & Annie Says & Dina Lohan

As we read paparazzi trash about celebrities and their spoilt, selfish life styles and the traumas they appear to inflict on themselves, and others in their wake, would we be right to first consider exactly which tree they fell from? Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, the list is endless. But unfortunately unsuitable, money grabbing parents aren’t!

Maybe its time to take a sympathetic look at why our poor, lost, mistreated, celebrities are so misguided, uncontrollable and delinquent in their own lives and in turn, the lives of their own children.

I can’t sign this, there’s not enough ‘000000’!

Ah, in’it great when two people who are battling it out in the courts and in the public arena can still report to the media that their ‘soon to be ex-spouse’ can make them laugh.

Well, that’s what you call an amicable divorce… isn’t it???

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper that The Beatles’ legend Sir Paul McCartney offered Heather Mills a 5 million pound settlement and she and her legal team were obviously so ecstatically happy with it read more ....

So, Its ‘Headlines‘, Geri Has a big Mouth!

Headlines confirmed it last week. No, not the news headlines, the revelation by Geri Halliwell that The Spice Girl’s new single is called, Headlines. But oh dear, the meek and mild Miss Halliwell made the huge, and of course, uncalculated mistake of telling one UK television station the title of their new album, which apparently could have upset the other band members, but, bless ‘em all, they took it all in good spirits………????

Maybe they should just wire the girl’s mouth shut and kill 3 birds with one stone, stop her singing, read more ....
