The Oscars are nearly upon us, just two days to go and this years awards ceremony is somehow steeped a lot more secrecy than of previous years.

But this week, on the Oprah Winfrey show, the handsome host of the 2009 Oscars, Hugh Jackman, gave away a few teasers that will have us all tuning in with great anticipation this Sunday night.

Not only will the stars of stage and screen be gracing the red carpet, stars such as Amy Adams, up for an award for her role in Doubt, Brad Pitt for his unusual portrayal of the alien-like read more ....

This year’s Oscar’s ceremony, otherwise known as the Academy Awards, is going ahead and this year’s theme is Old Hollywood Glamour.

The Hollywood glamour of yester-year will once again be on display as stars such as Keira Knightley and George Clooney walk the red carpet in gowns, suits and hairstyles meant to evoke the glamour of 1930s Hollywood. Pin curls, naturally formed waste lines, strings of pearls and big broaches coupled with a setting of white organza curtains, endless vases of white roses and crystal chandeliers that compete with the stars for that sparkle that will have the cameras read more ....
