The black rapper, Kanye West may have managed to keep profanity out of his outburst at the MTV Music Video Awards this weekend, but that certainly wasn’t the case with fellow African-American, tennis player, Serena Williams.
Seeing the title slipping away from her grip during the U.S. Tennis Open semifinals on Saturday, Williams showed a total lack of respect for the judge, her opponent and the game in general when (as with West) she too came to the realization that she was about to become a ‘loser.‘

Playing against Kim Clijsters, Williams, in a very unladylike, manner, approached the judge and using profanities usually utilized by Gordon Ramsey in his kitchen, threatened to stuff the tennis ball she was holding, down the judge’s throat. She shook her racket at the judge while delivering her threat.
The outburst followed the judge’s call that Williams had made a foot fault, a penalty that occurs when a server’s foot touches the baseline before making contact with the ball.

Speaking about the incident, Kim told reporters, “To this point, I’m still a little confused about what happened out there.”
As Williams left the court, the crowd booed the woman who later was fined $10,000 and faces an investigation that could lead to additional punishment.
