The media were expecting the collapse of a 50 year old singing sensation on stage this year but it wasn’t due to be Madonna, it was Michael Jackson. But now, it appears the Material Girl is pushing herself in much the same way it was anticipated Jackson would have done had he lived to embark on his This Is It concerts at the London’s O2 Arena.

Taking to stage in Sofia, Bulgaria, on the latest leg of her 85 date Sticky & Sweet tour, Madonna broke into her 1983 hit, Holiday, and within a few bars of the hit song she appeared to collapse and was kept from falling to the floor when a dancer held her.

The work obsessed Madonna is also said to have had a dizzy spell resulting in a stumble as she left the stage during “Spanish Lesson”, after which a source explained, “She refused to end the show or take a break after the ‘Holiday’ dizzy spell. It turns out she’s suffering from exhaustion. She is anaemic. She was advised to postpone the last two shows in Israel for a few days, but logistics and stubbornness stopped her.”
