Just 2 months ago the world was watching and waiting for the announcement that Michael Jackson would be postponing his 50 gig event at London’s O2 Arena but who would have thought that the postponing would be more serious than that, it has now turned into the postponing of his burial!

Jacko’s father, Joe Jackson, had previously told the media that the Jackson family would be burying the Thriller singer on the anniversary of his 51^st birthday in August, but for some reason, as yet unknown to the public, daddy Joe has postponed the date to September 3^rd. Probably he cant get the video equipment set up in time and all the hoop-la that will doubtless surround the King of Pop’s funeral, has yet to be put in place.
The funeral was reported to be a very private occasion with just immediate family and friends…….and 50 helicopters reporting over head, at the Forest Lawns memorial park in Glendale, Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that a touring exhibition featuring a film based around the singer’s final concert rehearsals will start at London’s O2 arena at the end of October. And who knows, maybe some snippets from the funeral if papa Joe has any say in the matter!
