Victoria Beckham certainly knows how to endear herself to people as she challenges her new boss, Simon Cowell as to why he didn‘t grasp the opportunity to sign The Spice Girls to his record label back in the 1990‘s and in so doing missed out on the most successful girl band of all time.

But, what Mrs Beckham appeared to be missing, was the fact that it’s Simon who is now offering her the chance to make a television appearance on the most successful talent show of all time.

Since leaving The Spice Girls, the wife of football ace, David Beckham has tried just about every avenue to achieve the spot light that shone on her and her four band mates back in the day. Everything from a reality show which followed her around Los Angeles when she, David and their three sons arrived there three years ago, to modeling, to fashion design to just about anything she could get to put her back in the celebrity A list.

So when Posh is confronted with the man who didn’t propel her to earlier stardom, but who is now including her on the panel of America Idol on a trial basis since Paula Abdul left, she took to opportunity to show her stupidity in front of millions of viewers by rubbing Simon’s nose in the fact that he missed out on signing the girl band.

Speaking about her predecessor, Abdul, Victoria said, ‘I’m a spiritual person, and I believe that you get back what you put out there. I hope she does something that is bigger and better. There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.’

Mrs Beckham evidently has it all wrong! Sucking up to Abdul and ridiculing Simon…..might be a bit of a mistake if she hopes to stay on Idol!
