Its tough being a starlet these days when the media focus on your cellulite instead of your acting, modeling and whatever else you’re up to.

But that seems to be the case with British actress Mischa Barton as she recovers in the Cedars Sinai Medical Center where she was taken by Los Angeles police and admitted for psychological evaluation, following what her publicist said the reason was, ‘She has big self-esteem issues. … She hates her legs, she isn’t comfortable with her body. It’s been a big source of stress and self-hate.”  And  on all accounts some extremely unflattering pictures of her legs with cellulite were  plastered over the glossy magazines last year and certainly didn’t help.

Her publicist continued, “She had a big problem with those photos of her cellulite. She didn’t like it.’ Another person close to Barton stated, “That just was something that contributed to her spiraling but she didn’t do much to fix it because of her partying.”

Mischa, 23, is aiming to return to work next week where she stars in the CW series, ‘The Beautiful Life’ in which she plays a beautiful pill-popping supermodel…….without cellulite we hope!!!
