At last all is revealed!

Amy Winehouse’s tearful return to the UK earlier this week was clearly due to her knowing in advance that her husband Blake Fielder-Civil had finally taken the plunge and applied for a quickie divorce to off load the Back to Black singer from his life for good!

Since Winehouse disappeared to her Caribbean retreat, several months ago, she and Blake haven’t spoken but that hasn’t stopped him proceeding with divorce action as was displayed today when a decree nisi was issued at the Family Division of the High Court in London. Following a 2 year marriage filled with arrests, very public fights and accusations of drug abuse, the British singer, Amy and onetime musem Blake, ended this Thursday in a very uneventful court setting.

According to court documents, Blake had filed for the divorce on the grounds of her adultery, and where he also stated he, ‘finds it intolerable to live with the respondent’.

In a questionnaire relating to the divorce Blake was asked, ‘State briefly your reasons for saying that the respondent has committed the adultery alleged’. His answer was listed as, ‘The respondent confessed the adultery to me in April 2008.’
He says that since April 2008 he and Winehouse had not lived in the same household,
and Fielder-Civil, gave his address as Claypole, Newark.

Describing himself as a music video producer on the documents, Blake failed to give the name of the person with whom the singer is alleged to have committed adultery, and left the section listed as, ‘unknown’.

Under UK law the decree nisi is issued 6 weeks before the decree absolute, which Blake must apply for should the two decide that during the 6 week period they still want the divorce finalized.
The pair married in Florida in 2007 and from that moment on the marriage was in trouble with Winehouse’s drug abusing lifestyle spilling over into Blake’s life and finally seeing him spending several months in a London prison following a drug smoking video of the pair in Amsterdam being released to the press, from which Amy managed to escape punishment, and his later attempt to pervert the course of justice and assaulting a pub landlord in 2008.

Since being released from prison Blake appears to have put his life back together and  has a new relationship and is now expecting a child later this year with Gileen Morris, a 31-year-old female he met while in rehab last year.
