We’re not big on predictions here at Yuddy! Really, who would have predicted that Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt wouldn’t have made it past a six week romance, and who would have predicted that Katie Price would let Peter Andre off the hook with little or no crap?
But there is one thing we can all be sure of, put money on, and predict with total confidence, and that is the great side splitting movie due for release on July 4th, Old Dogs!

So far all that’s available for anyone’s edification regarding the movie, which stars two of Hollywood’s funniest guys, Robin Williams and John Travolta, 55, are a few teaser trailers, but even they can leave the least of Williams’ and Travolta’s fans falling in the aisles with laughter.
Old Dogs follows the hilarious trail of destruction faced by two friends and business partners who find their lives turned upside down when strange circumstances lead to them being placed in the responsible position of caring for 7-year-old twins, one of whom is played by John’s own daughter Ella Bleu, and newcomer Conner Rayburn.

Williams, a luckless lover and Travolta a confirmed bachelor are on the brink of the biggest break in their business careers when they take charge of what they consider to be the kids from hell. But following all the ups and downs and disasters that accompany taking charge of twin 7 year olds, the two, not-so-kidsavvy bachelors, come to realize that there is more to life than either of them had ever guessed.
And it’s not just knowing that the two Oscar winning stars, John and Robin, head the cast of Old Dogs that makes it a definite hit, but also knowing that other stars such as Justin Long, Seth Green, Matt Dillon, the late Bernie Mac, Rita Loughlin and of course Travolta’s own wife Kelly Preston, have taken time out of their busy schedules to appear with the two ’mad men,’ will quite probably make it one of the funniest movies of the decade!

Ryder

With both John and Robin’s ability as straight, serious and comedic actors, as demonstrated recently with Travolta’s amazing performance as Ryder in The Taking of Pelham 123 and as comedy mother Edna Turnblad in Hairspray and Robin’s interpretation of Teddy Roosevelt in this year’s Night at The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and as Gabriel Noone in The Night Listener in 2006, these two cant help but bring back memories of another great acting duo known for both humour and sophisticated roles, Paul Newman and Robert Redford in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting!
