The White House has released the official photographic portrait of the First Dog, and at this point we’ll resist stating the obvious as we’re not big on public apologies here at Yuddy!!!!

So, following the myriad of photos we have had to endure of Michelle Obama, Sasha and Malia, along with the sight of Barack Obama on our TV screens day and night, we now have to feast our eyes on the latest member of the Obama family, Bo, the Portuguese water dog adopted by the first family.

Posing in a very presidential manner on the South Lawn of The White House, Bo, the dog who was a gift from Senator Edward Kennedy, despite the president’s promise to adopt a shelter dog, does rather put the rest of the occupants of the White House in the dark with his good looks, his ‘ahhhhh-factor’ and even his obedience when faced with the cameras of the world’s media, at which point he will always ‘sit’ and behave. And of course, leaving his ‘Perez Hilton’ style jacket back at the dog house gave him a more presidential appearance!

In an interview on an NBC news show with Brian Williams, Obama told Williams, “Bo’s a teenager. He’s a puppy still. And he, every once in a while, does get a little frisky. But I would not want just a passive dog. I want a dog with a little bit of spirit’.

Once again……….we’ll refrain from comment!
