The last time we saw Fergie in an extraordinary public appearance was on the balcony at The White House back on Easter Sunday when she sang for Barack Obama and his wife and kids at the start of the annual egg roll.

At that time the Black Eyed Peas starlet was clad in a massive warm winter coat and pretty well hidden behind the white façade of the grand building.

But now, Fergie has come out of hiding, so to speak, as she has now removed not only the winter coat but pretty much every other item of clothing in a ravishing cover spread with Allure magazine in their July issue.

Not showing a remote ounce of the 17 lbs she had to gain to play the role of  Saraghina, in the movie Nine, which sees her starring alongside such Hollywood greats as Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Sophia Loren, Fergie gives the photo shoot all she’s got, and according to the accompanying article, she’s fairly much the same way new husband, Josh Duhamel!

The movie due for release later this year sees Daniel Day Lewis (original the role was rumored to have been offered to Javier Bardem) as famous film director Guido Contini struggling to find harmony in his professional and personal lives, as he engages in dramatic relationships with his wife, his mistress, his muse, his agent, and his mother.

Along with her movie appearance in Nine, Fergie also has this summer’s most talked about hit, Boom Boom Pow and can now add to her accomplishments becoming the cover girl for July’s edition of Allure magazine.
