She may not be ‘the girl next door’ anymore in the Playboy mansion, but that doesn’t mean Kendra Wilkinson has any intension of keeping out of the glare of the cameras, lights, action or the pubic eye as she embarks on a new TV reality show with the outstanding and imaginative title, Kendra!

With a title like that the show, which premieres on Sunday June 7th on E!, promises to be equally as riveting, intriguing and entertaining as anything else that the Playboy model has previously giggled and pranced her way through.

Since leaving the lavish security of living in Hugh Hefner’s mansion as one of his many girlfriends and starring in The Girls Next Door, Kendra, the 23-year who had 24/7 room service and a social secretary now lives on her own for the first time in her new crib, has a new prospective husband, Hank Baskett, and has installed a pole dancing implement, around which she no doubt gyrates in an effort to appear vaguely interesting!

When TVGuide.Com asked Kendra why she had taken on the ‘challenge’ of another reality show so soon after leaving TGND, her reply was, ‘I had so much fun doing Girls Next Door, (and so did Hef!) and I wanted the next chapter in my life to be like a home video that I can have forever. Plus, the team I work with is amazing, so when I found out I would get to work with a lot of the same people, I was all for it. They’re like family.’ Another coded message for ‘I like the attention and the money?’

When asked about her pending nuptials to Baskett (case) Kendra gushed, ‘I’m looking forward to waking up every morning next to my best friend (bet that’s comforting news for Hef!!) and the person that truly makes me happy, (again, great news to the old guy!) and starting a family with him (even worse news to the octogenarian). I’m least looking forward to cooking and cleaning. My dogs are hard too. At the mansion, they could run around and they were picked up after. It took me a while to get used to picking up after them! (oh Sh**!) That’s no fun!

And finally with reference to Kendra’s installation of her stripper’s pole she commented, ‘It’s such a good workout, especially before my wedding. I want to be in perfect shape. The pole was the first thing I had installed! It’s my centerpiece.’

Lets hope Baskett manages to change Kendra’s interest from that centerpiece to his centerpiece!
