Kung Foo actor David Carradine was found dead at his hotel room in the city of Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday and the cause of death, although still being investigated is believed to be suicide.

The 72 year old actor had begun his path to fame in Hollywood in the role of Shane in the movie of the same name back in 1966. His high profile as an accomplished actor was acknowledged as he filled the role of Kwai Chang Caine, a wanderer raised by Shaolin monks and who later become a martial arts master, in the TV series Kung Foo. The TV show brought a cult following and stayed with David in his role as spokesperson for Yellowbook commercials on TV where he used his ancient spiritual wisdom talents to predict where and how to find businesses.

Carradine’s big screen acting career made a resurgence in 2003 and 2004 in the Quentin Tarantino in the action movies Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2., which saw him performing alongside Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu.
