Dont push in Madge!

Its presenting a more daunting task than decoding the hieroglyphics on King Tut’s tomb when it comes to understanding exactly why Michael Jackson has pushed the start of his This Is It tour, back by 4 days.

Is it because, as Randy Phillips, President and CEO of AEG Live tells us, ‘This show has grown in size and scope, thereby, necessitating more lead time for manufacture of the set, programming the content for the massive video elements, and, most importantly, more time for full production and dress rehearsals‘.

Or is it because Madonna has been booked at the venue for the beginning of July (who knew???) leaving the self proclaimed King Of Pop no time to rehearse at the arena, or is it because Jackson now has $440m safely in his bank account and couldn’t give a stuff about his fans or maybe its because the ‘picture of health’ we see flashed before us, as described by Jackson’s spokesman, Dr Tohme Tohme, is about as healthy as a corpse in the local mortuary?

Whatever the reason, the odds of Jackson actually carrying out his promise to thrill his fans with his final UK tour are rapidly decreasing as the event date drawers closer and closer!
