The semi-sexy, fairly-greasy heartbreaker who seems to have stolen the tween limelight from Zac Efron could be entering into some dark waters by participating in flicks that are not cut out for him.
Reviews are streaming in for Robert Pattinson’s independent project Little Ashes, in which he portrays Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dali, and sadly the majority of the assessments are anything but positive.
On the whole it sounds as though the young star just doesn’t fit the mold of the renowned artist, going by several critics’ opinions, including Kurt Loder’s from MTV:

“As soon as Pattinson steps forth with Dalí’s famous up-twirled mustaches pasted to his face, the picture collapses,” Loder recently declared.
It’s understandable that Robbie dearest would want to try his pretty hand at adult roles, but will his band of loyal followers (i.e. every gal under the age of 16) be tolerant of the transition?
