It can hardly be denied that Katie Price, glamour model, has often been seen crossing the line, but it’s usually the line of decency and tact, but this weekend she managed to cross the line of the London marathon, with not a sign of any lewd behaviour.

Katie, AKA, Jordan, and husband Peter Andre showed their marriage is strong enough to see them through the marathon together with Peter racing to Katie’s side as she tumbled following a buckled knee at the 18th mile.
But it wasn’t all plain sailing after that as the former Playboy model fell once again at the 23rd mile but eventually managed to hobble over the finish line with a time of seven hours and 11 minutes.
The 30 year old glamour model ran for the children’s charity Vision while her singer husband was raising money for the NSPCC. Katie wore a bright orange T shirtfor the London marathon with her six year old son Harvey’s face printed on the front. Harvey was born partially blind.
Peter wore the name ‘Jade Goody’ inked on his arm in tribute to the late Big Brother star who died in March this year of cervical cancer.

Katie reported that she had received a quarter of a million pounds in sponsorship if she completed the run, saying, ‘I have to finish,’ but she unhappily added her misery at having gained weight during her training program explaining, ‘It’s vile. I’m small anyway but I like slender legs. I don’t like real muscle in a girl. ‘My jeans don’t fit. I feel like the Incredible Hulk. I had visions that this summer I could wear little hot pants, have a nice little six pack going on. No chance. More like flubber pack and big legs. It’s just all the food I think I’ve been eating.’

Another controversial celebrity competing was chef Gordon Ramsay. For him it was the 10th experience of running the streets of London in the marathon. Ramsey’s chosen charity was the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
