If nothing else the Hilton family are persistent! Having failed miserably herself in the music industry, Paris Hilton is lending her support to her younger brother, Barron, who is embarking on a singing career of his own.

With her own experience of failure, Barron must be relying on Paris’s knowledge to show him what not to do to become the success she never was when she released her self titled debut album in 2006 which only managed to sell 600,000 worldwide.

Tired of only being known as a Hilton, Barron, 19, told the New York Post, “I want to be an international singer-songwriter. I’m sick of all the Hilton stuff, where all anyone cared about was whether I was doing coke in the bathroom or how many women I was sleeping with. I’m done with partying and traveling. It’s time to get this started.”

Along with sister Nicky Hilton, 25, who has also struggled for recognition in the world of designing, modeling and fashion, it seems we have yet another Hilton disaster looming on the horizon!
