We’ve seen several of our favourite celebrities facing adverse conditions of late, Liam Neeson losing his wife, Natasha Richardson, to a skiing accident, Patrick Swayze fighting cancer, Jade Goody losing her battle to cancer and now we’re seeing the beautiful Farrah Fawcett in a battle for her life.

At 62 years of age, the former Charlie’s Angel star has taken her battle to Germany where she has hopefully received treatment that will finally rid her of the awful disease.

Arriving back to her home in Los Angeles, where Farrah is cared for by her ex partner 67 year old Ryan O’ Neal, she looked tired following her stem cell therapy in Frankfurt. Coupled with the treatment and the flight, she certainly has the right to look ‘all in!’

Although Farrah has, in the main kept her illness private, she has allowed her treatment to be filmed, and the TV documentary called, A Wing and a Prayer has been put together in an effort give encouragement and hope to other people facing the same illness.

Speaking about her decision to take part she has said: ‘As much as I would have liked to keep my cancer private, I have a certain responsibility to those fighting their own fights who may benefit about learning from mine.’
