With Evan Rachel Wood of the scene, is Sarah Brightman making a bid in to become Marilyn Manson’s next partner?

Brightman’s classical singing voice doesn’t follow through to her fashion sense as she is fast becoming a real ‘phantom’ in the fashion world stepping out in public wearing eyelashes reminiscent of Twiggy’s 1960’s look. But flapping around in the middle of a chunky 48 year old woman‘s face is not the look that says, ‘I’m a style icon!’

The ex wife of musical maestro Andrew Lloyd Webber, was in Shanghai to promote her latest concerts in China over the weekend where she not only donned a huge pair of thick black tarantula-esqu eyelashes, but she further chose to team the look with a tightly-fitting leather outfit, complete with thigh-high leather boots.

But the star of Pharom of the Opera, Brightman, doesn’t confine her weird and wonderful fashion sense to public appearances, she can often be seen in her favourite footwear style of high heels or ’stripper shoes’, plastic or PVC shoes with large platform soles and equally outrageous styles where off stage Sarah frequently appears mini skirts, thigh high boots.
