Its safe for Hollywood’s single ladies to walk the streets even though the former philanderer, Colin Farrell is once again free, single and on the loose.

Since Farrell, 32, split with his girlfriend, Emma Forrest, last month he has taken a personal oath to keep away from women and to concentrate on his career as an actor instead.

Irish born Farrell and novelist Emma, who had been dating for a year, split up after Farrell apparently didn’t mention her in his Golden Globes acceptance speech but Farrell has found himself a quantum of solace in his hour of personal agony by crying on the shoulder of Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 23 year old Keira Knightley. The Daily Express reports, “Keira has been trying to support him while he goes through girlfriend troubles.’

The star of In Bruge, is currently amusing himself by working with Ed Harris on the set of The Way Back in the eastern European country of Bulgaria, where a close friend told the UK’s Daily Star on Sunday, ‘He has a whole new outlook on life. As far as he is concerned he finally has the right work/life balance. And, for once, that doesn’t include women.”

Women previously included among his conquests, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Nicole Narain can rest easy now but we’re not sure we believe his announcement of celibacy and we would stress caution to the female population of Bulgaria and the surrounding countries!
