Best and Worst Emmy Fashions

Ali Larter is less than flattering.

So, the 59th annual Emmy awards have come and gone, but the fashion do’s and don’ts will live on for years to come! Here’s a list of the best and worst dressed stars - in my humble opinion.

Let’s start off with the worst dressed list, shall we?

Heroes hottie Ali Larter…I’m surprised she wasn’t embarrassed to be seen in public with her strapless fire engine red bed sheet wrapped around her like that! Sooo unflattering! The Reem Acra dress is less than divine, sorry fabsugar.

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria seemed way too desperate: first she relied on the man, Kaufman Franco, who designed her wedding gown, then she had the nerve to show up looking like a mermaid!

Eva Longoria looking like a mermaid, much?

Ugly Betty star Vanessa Williams should have been on sesame street with her blue Big Bird-esque number by Kevan Hall. She most certainly put the “ugly” in Ugly Betty, says aol.com. I couldn’t agree more! The character she plays on the hit series dresses better than that.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Vanessa Williams looking fugly.

Christine star Julia Louis-Dreyfus looked like a sugar plum bouncing down the red carpet wearing a dress by her “fave designer” Narcisco Rodriguez. The cut of her dress was way too boxy for her shape and she needed to keep a peep show of the twins to a bare minimum…no pun intended.

And now on to the best dressed…

Starterwife Debra Messing shines as usual wearing a black and white Ralph Lauren number doused in diamonds. This red headed vixen still has what it takes to stop a crowd and revive the classic Hollywood look.

Hero hottie Milo Ventimiglia sported a simple yet sexy a black suit and tie. Leading men everywhere should follow his lead and dress to the nines… it’s easy as black and white.

Funny lady Ellen DeGeneres and her perfect leading lady Portia DeRossi sport the twinsies look sporting color coordinated outfits. DeGeneres wore a navy suit by Gucci. Man, can that woman pull off a suit or what?!

Veronica Mars gal Kristen Bells was bold enough to take on the role as “Grecian Princess” with her strapless periwinkle gown. It sure wasn’t a prom-esque dress like most of the women wore on the famous red carpet!

For those of you who didn’t make the best dressed list, let this be a warning for next year: The celeb hounds can and will make or break your careers!
