Do we smell the pungent aroma of ‘guilt?’
When a celebrity has to engage the services of top defense attorney Mark Geragos you know he’s in trouble.

We’ve seen it with Michael Jackson (who was eventually left high and dry by Geragos when the Scott Peterson murder trial came along), and we saw it with the Winona Ryder shoplifting case and again we saw it when Geragos won a dismissal of all alcohol-related counts against former President Bill Clinton’s brother, Roger Clinton Jr.
So now, 30 year old R&B singer, Chris Brown, has scurried off to Mark’s office in an attempt to prove himself not guilty in the charges levied against him that he attacked and strangled singer Rihanna.
Geragos, who is a frequent TV legal commentator on the Larry King Live talk show, will defend Brown after he gave himself up to police following the attack on Sunday night after their fight left Rihanna with horrific injuries, including a swollen lip, black eyes, marks on her face and bites to her arms and fingers.
The fight was said to have broken out as the couple sat in Brown’s car and Rihanna responded to a text message Brown had received from another woman on his cell phone.
Both Rihanna, 20, and Brown have since missed the Grammy Awards and Rihanna has cancelled two concert dates in Asia.
Brown has also had advertising campaigns suspended and several radio stations in the US are refusing to pay his music.
So some good has come from it!!!
