We just love a guy who is so secure with his sexuality that he can venture close, and even into, the world of gays, cross dressers and transvestites and that certainly seems to be the case with British actor Jude Law.
Not that any doubt could ever surround Jude’s true sexuality with his track record of womanizing and broken relationships with women such as UK model Sadie Frost, sex bomb, Sienna Miller, actress Thandie Newton and Israeli born Natalie Portman.

Leaving Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams in the shadows as Tootsie and Mrs Doubtfire, respectively, Jude takes on his next movie role as a transvestite called Minx, leaving us all with bated breath to see just how convincing he is in the murder mystery movie Rage due for release later this year.

Playing a transvestite on all accounts brought out an area of Law’s acting abilities not seen on the past as a source commented, ‘Strangely, the more he became a “she”, coiffed and made-up - the more naked was his performance. There was great strength in his willingness to make himself vulnerable. It was an extraordinarily intense part of the shoot. Part of the subject matter of Rage is the ugly use of beauty in the pursuit of profit. Drugged by marketing, sapped by fear of aging, conned by the cult of celebrity… image becomes all.’
Co starring with Law in the movie, which is set to premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival later this month where it has been nominated for the prestigious Golden Berlin Bear prize, is Dame Judi Dench, better known as M from the James Bond movies.

Dench sited the movie as, film ‘without question, the most unusual piece of work I’ve ever done’. But that said, we’re sure Judi must have felt some sense of relief to see Jude don his false moustache once again for his role in the Guy Ritchie movie, Sherlock Holmes.
