But that seems to be the way it is with former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney, as he gets the nod from his daughter, Stella McCartney, as he heads towards his third marriage.

And to be fair, why wouldn’t Paul need a well balanced, second opinion when the last woman he married turned out to be Cruella DeVille.

Having only secured his divorce last summer from the tyrant, Heather Mills, which less him £24 million lighter, McCartney has found a new love, 49 year old Nancy Shevell, and is not at all scared off by his last experience and obviously feels safe in the knowledge that Nancy is a multi-millionaire in her own right and could never be in the relationship for the either the publicity or the money.

This would be Paul’s’ third marriage. His first was to the love of his life, Linda McCartney, who still remains paramount in Sir Paul’s thoughts and always will.

With that in mind, it was important that Linda’s family also gave their seal of approval on his new lady.

A friend told the Daily Mail, ‘She (Nancy) is calm, measured and mature, whereas Heather is fiery and impulsive. Nancy and Sir Paul are totally natural together and feel blessed to have found happiness together’.
