There really doesn’t seem much reason for getting married these days when you’re a Hollywood celeb. Actress Patricia Arquette and actor Thomas Jane tied the knot back in 2006, after a four year engagement and now, with most Hollywood marriages, its over before its begun!

Arquette, who was previously married to actor Nicolas Cage, met Thomas in 2001 and dated for 4 years. But it seems the state of ‘marriage’ just doesn’t agree with the 40 year old actress as she has now cited, ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.

Patricia and Thomas have one daughter together, Harlow, and Arquette has a son by Paul Rossi, Enzo, 19.

The sister of Rosanna Arquette and David Arquette, will be seeking custody of Harlow and is asking the court to deny any cash claim by Thomas Jane.

Arquette’s’ movies include, True Romance, Lost Highway and Brining Out The Dead.
