How many pages can there be in an autobiography on a girl who has only sprung to fame in the past 24 months and has reached the grand old age of 23?
One would assume not many! But that wont be any kind of deterrent to the X Factor winner, Leona Lewis as she signs a deal, with Hodder and Stoughton, to reveal all the most interesting moments in her life.
Obviously the publishers have realized that the amount of scintillating gossip to be revealed by Leona wont fill many pages as they will be filling the book with 100 photographs.
The book has been carefully timed for release in late October of 2009 just when Lewis’s second album hit’s the shelves.
Simon Cowell’s choice for the winner of the 2007 UK reality show, X Factor, admits that, “The last two years have been an unbelievable experience for me,” but she’ll need more than two years of her fairy tale rise to fame to fill a worthwhile best seller.
“This will be the first time Leona tells her story of how the X-Factor launched her from waitressing in Pizza Hut in Hackney to stardom on both sides of the Atlantic,” said Hodder editor Fenella Bates.
