Her ex hubby has found love with a dodgy volleyball champion from Washington, but our favorite turn-around poster child is still living life in the singles lane.

Last month everyone and their uncle was dead set on the belief that Brit was gettin’ busy with Benji Madden, and this past week the singer once again found herself linked to an unlikely boy - a Bollywood boy named Sandip Soparrkar.

The first one to pull the plug on the improbable romance was E! Online, who helped to correct a few curious misconceptions:

-Though Soparrkar is a famed choreographer he had nothing to do with Britney’s wonderfully candid Womanizer music video, in fact, her longtime best-buddy choreographer Andre Fuentes collects the credit.

-Numerous British tabloids ran with the impassioned story and claimed that Spears spent Christmas in Jodhpur with her Bollywood suitor. Some even went further by sticking false words in the star’s mouth such as “I feel like an India princess in this ghagra-choli with gold work that Sandip gifted me.”

For the record, Brit hung tinsel and sang Xmas carols in the comfort of her own home with her sons alongside her.

Now, if Spears IS searching for a new guy, she should look to her left!! The man carrying her Sonic goodies on New Year’s Day is the Director of Content for BritneySpears.com; after picking up the provisions the two drove off “with Andrew [McComb] riding shotgun,” according to Gossip Girls. Not a bad looking bloke, eh?
