Simon Cowell thinks he can revive Britney Spears’ sinking career with the offer of a lifeline in the form of removing her from the company of her ’stupid friends’ and by ‘buying her some underwear’.Â
 ‘We can bring her back,” insists Simon. To which his side kick, eighties pop sensation Paula Abdul added, “We always have time for Britney. We love her.”
 As yet there have been no positive replies from the Britney camp, but looking back at what Simon has done for himself and a string of other ‘wannabees’ Britney would be wise to place herself firmly on his ‘lifeline’.
In his time, Simon has brought himself back from the edge of bankrupcy, when he only had enough money in his pocket for a cab fare to his parent’s house, to making celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, Katharine McPhee and Clay Aiken household names.
Come on Britney, just call him!
