The most famous tie on the planet, worn by Jennifer Aniston on the cover of next month’s GQ Magazine is now owned by late night talk show host David Letterman. The tie, being worn by Friends star, Jennifer Aniston for the photo shoot, is the only item she is sporting and is accompanied by the question, “Is it just us or is Jennifer Aniston getting hotter?”

The ‘tie’ is taking center stage lately as 39 year old Jennifer does the rounds promoting her latest movie, Marley and Me, which sees her staring alongside her previous love interest Owen Wilson.

As Aniston presented Letterman with a replica of the tie (the original had too much body fluid on it) she giggled, “Oh this is exciting - I’m dressing Dave! This is an historic moment in my career. That was fantastic!”

But the mood of the interview changed when David ventured into the hallowed ground of Aniston’s private life. Asking her about her relationship with John Mayer, Jennifer all but snapped, “I think it’s all been said at this point,” but when Letterman persisted by asking her why everyone is so into her personal life she goes “I don’t know. Just ask yourself why you asked the question.”

Maybe Jennifer should have put the tie firmly around Letterman’s mouth!
