Being a fictitious Desperate Housewife is one thing but when desperation spills over into your real life as you become a desperate wanna be mother, well that’s taking desperation to a totally new level for Eva Longoria.

When the 34 year old actress married her husband and professional basketball player, Tony Parker in July 2007, it was with the expectation that the couple would soon become three.

But with Tony being eight years younger than Eva, obviously his biological clock isn’t ticking away as rapidly as her’s and he doesn’t feel the need to add to his current favorite number, two!

Parker has told Longoria that he’s not ready to commit to parenthood as he feels he is at the peak of his playing career and doesn’t need distractions. People magazine reports, “Tony isn’t ready for a baby. He’s much younger than Eva and at the top of his profession, while Eva is in her ‘baby prime’ as she calls it. She even threatened to leave him twice before he agreed.”

So even with Tony being out of the game for a few weeks with an ankle injury, it still doesn’t look as though Eva will be able to corner, the devoted team player, in the bedroom to get her own way with him as Tony has decided to travel with his team mates instead.
