Talk about a rough week for couples!

First, joined-at-the-hip sweethearts Paris Hilton & Benji Madden called it quits (guess New Year’s in Sydney is kaput? Sorry Bongo Virus!) then Jodie Sweetin of Full House fame announced her divorce from her hubby of 16 months, now Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are reportedly “fighting like cats and dogs.”

Is anybody holding it together these days?

Page Six maintains that the tension between LiLo and her deejayin’ lover is at an all-time high, so much in fact that they recently enrolled in couples counseling.

“They fight every day, screaming, crying and yelling at each other,” an anonymous source disclosed. “Sam and Lindsay are still very much together and very much in love, but drama just seems to follow Lindsay, and Sam hates it. She deals with Lindsay every day. And every day for Sam means questioning ‘Is this worth it?’”

Within the last few weeks a group of well-placed spies for Page Six spotted the pair getting into a quarrel outside of club Citrine, and the London Sun ran a story about a volatile argument that took place at Boujis - where Ronson was busy spinning records - in London on Wednesday. The publication noted that “all hell broke loose” and the shrieking match ended with LiLo “in tears.”

An innocent bystander described the scene: “At one stage Lindsay approached Sam in the DJ booth and screamed at her, ‘How many more songs?’ How long is it going to take for you to pack up?’”

At the rate they’re going, Ronson may soon be packing up everything before hitting the open road.
