After all the high profile and high priced divorce settlements that have drawn media attention over the past few years, it comes as a breath of fresh air to see that British movie director, Guy Ritchie has walked away from his now, ex wife Madonna and hasn’t taken a penny from her millions.

With long drawn out and somewhat embarrassing revelations that come with divorce, such as Christie Brinkley and ex husband, Peter Cook whom Brinkley accused of having strange sexual behaviour, or Denise Richards who had no shame in airing her dirty laundry in public when she divorced Charlie Sheen, Guy has chosen to leave with his image and reputation in tack.

Just last year we saw Britney Spears and Kevin Federline divorcing amid toxic encounters and Paul McCartney and Heather Mills spitting an enormous amount of venom and gaining an even bigger pay out for the amputee glamour model.

So now, with Guy bowing out so quickly and remaining a descent guy, it either sends a message to say he has more respect for himself and his children, or he’s rich enough or quite frankly he just wants to rid himself of the aging Material Girl and move on to find himself someone worthy of his grace and magnanimity, as fast as he can, and why not, Madonna moved on to Alex Rodriguez before moving away from Guy!
