A woman who was reported to have had an obsession with American Idol judge, Paula Abdul has been found dead in her car outside Miss Abdul’s home in Sherman Oaks, California.

The woman, who has not been named, was found to have prescription pills in the car when the police were called to the scene and it is presumed the woman took her own life.

Abdul’s camp tells E! News that she is aware of the incident and plans to release a statement later today, after finishing up some Idol taping.
