Anderson Cooper, the silver haired CNN anchorman of Anderson Cooper 360, took time out of his busy election coverage schedule to share his thoughts on the specifics of the election with talk show host, Ellen Degeneres.

Ellen posed the very controversial, and rarely hit upon subject of ‘dance’ in the general election. Asking Cooper, ‘seriously, how important do you think the issue of dance is in this election?’

Anderson, always one to face up to hard hitting political questions said, ‘I’m actually glad you raised that, I think that is the big unknown, there’s a lot of unknowns in this election, what the undecided voters are going to do, whether these new voters are going to show up at the polls. It’s what I call the Ellen factor, I think a lot of analysts have missed. I think you have played a role in this election that historians will recognize in years from now!’ The question was posed after Barack Obama and his wife Michelle guest starred on the Ellen show and…..danced, and re-danced, again!

Showing further his vast knowledge of all things media, Anderson mentioned his preference for the reality show, Dancing with the Stars and Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Anderson asked Ellen if she had gotten into the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Ellen admitted she hadn’t but assumed she probably should following Anderson’s enticing remarks about NeNe, one of the housewives on the show produced by True Entertainment.
