Ever wonder what some of your favorite celebs and Hollywoods big names are up to in-between gigs? (Besides making up/breaking up, drinking a lot of Starbucks and changing their hair cuts/colors 500 times?) Well here are some answers for you -
Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway are of course, on board to do a Get Smart sequel (it just wouldn’t be very smart of them not to! Sorry, couldn’t resist!) but they also have other deals in the works. According to Variety, Carell is teaming with Warner Bros. to form his own production company with a few of his friends.
Hathaway will be playing the White Queen in Tim Burton’s highly anticipated spin on Alice in Wonderland. She’ll get to frolic around with the likes of the Queen of Hearts (Helena Bonham Carter), and Alice (Mia Wasikowska).
Sarah Jessica Parker has got a few lucky ladies to play the leads of her new HBO comedy pilot, Washingtonienne: Rachael Taylor, Bitsie Tulloch and Amanda Walsh will be in the main roles.
And where would SJP be without her hubby? Matthew Broderick will headline Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway revival of The Philanthropist.
Kristen Bell will be lending her voice to Astro Boy, joining Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy, Eugene Levy and Matt Lucas who have already signed on.
And - that’s a wrap!
