It seems fine for us to see the likes of Old Hollywood, such as Doris Day and Gina, Lollobrigida devoting their time to walking their pets, but when that’s all that the day holds for Mischa Barton, surely its time for the girl to worry.
Most Hollywood stars hire their own dog walkers with their work days filled with filming, script reading and public appearances, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for Barton these days.
With little work in the pipe line Mischa, at the tender age of 22, appears to have dropped off the actress radar since she met her untimely demise in the 2006 season finale of The O.C., in which her character, Marissa Cooper, was killed in a fatal car accident. Coupled with her DUI bust last year, Barton is truly out of Hollywood favour!
But Barton was still up beat as she spoke to YoungHollywood.com about her life in Santa Monica, California, yesterday when she told them about her love of dogs ‘I have Charles Dickens who’s a mutt rescue and Ziggy Stardust and she’s a Pomeranian mix. I’m like dog whisperer with dogs, I make sure my dogs are well-behaved.’
Barton also revealed how she splits her time between Paris, New York, London and Los Angeles and spends a typical day reading. ’When I’m home here in LA, I do a lot of reading. This is my productive place’.
Clearly not over productive!
