Posted under Free for All & Lindsay Lohan & Regis Philbin & Anderson Cooper & Ali Lohan & Kelly Ripa

As CNN’s silver fox, Anderson Cooper, filled in for Regis Philbin and co-hosted the Regis and Kelly show this week he was drawn into a debate with Kelly over the train wreck that is know as Lindsay Lohan‘s life. In his usual analytical style he told it as it was!
Coming from an exceptionally wealthy and famous family himself, being the son of the socialite designer, Gloria Vanderbilt, certainly equips Anderson to comment on both mummy Lohan, Dina, and daughters Lindsay and Ali.

Anderson went straight in for the attack, telling it just as it is, and as millions of TV viewers subjected to Living Lohan, see the situation.

Cooper’s take on the show is that Dina Lohan is capitalizing on Lindsay and in turn is pushing Ali Lohan forward into the spotlight, despite the fact she, like her sister, is talentless.
Anderson pointed out that Lindsay is never on the show, and will never be on the show, but “we hope she is, and until then we’re stuck with these horrific people.” He then proceeded to comment on Ali Lohan saying:
“Then there’s this seemingly nice 14 year-old girl, who looks to be about 60. She allegedly wants to be a singer, and/or actress slash performer of some sort, strip tease person, I don’t know. I say that with love and concern.”
At this point Anderson’s point of view was challenged by Kelly who said, “They’re obviously a multi-talented family, the kids sing, and perform.”. This caused Anderson to split his sides laughing! Commenting, “Uh yeah sure, maybe that’s in the episode I didn’t see.”
Jumping on the bandwagon, Dina took her opportunity to respond through no less than, OK! Magazine. In doing so she told Anderson that he had brought bad karma on himself and that he was cruel.
Is Anderson any more cruel than Dina, as she uses daughter number one to gain publicity for herself and then uses daughter number two to remain in the limelight? This woman seriously needs therapy!
Anderson Cooper, born into an established family with money and fame, never relied on his mother’s influence to make it to where he is today. He took himself, a hand held video camera and headed for the nearest war zone to cover the news independently.
Never has he needed mummy Vanderbilt to push him in front of the cameras, he’s a talent in his own right, as he demonstrates nightly on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 and even when unleashed on the public on more whimsical shows such as Regis and Kelly he shows yet another side to his personality, humour!
