Although some claim that Owen Wilson is delighted to find himself on the market once again, others are painting an entirely different portrait of a lonely man with a broken heart.

It’s been a mere few weeks since the actor officially split from back-and-forth GF Kate Hudson, who is currently courting seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong.

The newfound romance is allegedly making Wilson a little green-eyed, which has caused him to turn to his favorite pastime: hitting the bars.

OK! Magazine reports that the 39-year-old  was seen at club G in Philadelphia recently, but it wasn’t all fun & games. “Owen looked pretty upset,” a fellow partygoer stated.  “He was drinking and sulking until last call.”

Those working on the set of the star’s latest flick Marley & Me seconded this black-cloud aura.  

“Owen’s been spending time on the phone with Luke [Wilson],” an insider revealed. “There are a lot of people making sure they’re there for him.”

 “We all thought it would be Owen breaking Kate’s heart, but it turned out to be the other way around,” a friend of the two affirmed. “It’s sad because deep down they love each other – but they’re too lethal a combination to last. And Kate has her son, Ryder, to think of.”

Getting back to those who dismiss the brokenhearted theory; on May 15^th Wilson headed over to another Philadelphia hotspot, this time a strip club, where witnesses say he looked anything but sad while he got up close and personal with a topless Kate clone.

“He spent 4 ½ hours at Rick’s Cabaret and was in an upbeat mood,” a source relayed to the New York Post.

“If he had any problems, you’d never know it,” the Kate lookalike - who took Owen into a secluded VIP suite - added.

However, one of the dancers pointed out that “…his mind was elsewhere.”

Is Wilson attempting to drown out his sorrows with Hudson replacements and buckets of booze, or is he indeed relishing the single life?
