Jealousy or concern?
Aspiring country crooner Jessica Simpson has allegedly taken it upon herself to warn actress Jennifer Aniston all about the wild ways of John Mayer.
The buxom blonde dated the “Gravity” musician for over nine months before he went and broke her smitten little heart. Some claim that she is simply attempting to rain on John’s current parade, to seek revenge for being played, but others are dismissing this notion as Grade A drama.
Despite recent reports, Simpson is happily courting football stud Tony Romo and has shown no signs of pining away for Mayer; so the prospect of her aiming to chuck Aniston out of the picture is highly unlikely.
“Jessica wants Jen to be aware of what she’s letting herself get into with John,” Transworld News quoted an insider as saying. “She doesn’t want her to make the same mistakes. John is a ladies’ man.”
“He’ll spend every waking minute talking to someone and spending time with them and then move on to the next girl,” a buddy of Mayer’s seconded.
It’s difficult to say whether or not John has the capability of changing overnight; perhaps he did manage to grown a little since his last romantic entanglement, as he has supposedly been telling friends that he is “in love with a very special woman.”
If this statement holds truth, then this young man is in luck because an acquaintance of Aniston’s slipped the following tidbit to Britain’s Star magazine: “Jen thinks John could be ‘The One’ and that she has fallen for him - hard! She’s usually pretty cautious when it comes to dating but, with John, she has decided to follow her gut feelings.”
“She has also heard about his past and his womanizing ways,” the source was quick to add. “But doesn’t see him like that.”
Should Jennifer take Jessica’s word of warning to heart, or continue to trust John’s ambiguous intentions?
