We’ll say that again for the hard of reading, George Clooney is single again!

George, 47, and his girlfriend Sarah Larson have reportedly split up after a year of dating.

The handsome, and now single actor, is said to be “relieved” he is a bachelor again, and felt his one-year relationship with Larson had reached its natural end. A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: “George is relieved to be single again. He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her. The truth is they had little in common and he just doesn’t want to be tied down.”

The entire relationship seems to have been jinxed from the get go after Clooney met Larson, 29, while she was a cocktail waitress working in Las Vegas.

After George brought Larson to the public’s attention in September last year where the couple made their debut at the Venice and Deauville film festivals, the pair came off George’s motorcycle in November last year in Weehawken, New Jersey leaving Larson on crutches and George only slightly injured.

In January, following the Leatherheads and Michael Clayton star, George, taking Miss Larson to the Oscars, photos emerged of Sarah in a compromising position with a client while working as a waitress in Vegas.

So this weekend, E Online reports that George appeared to have gone solo while soaking up the sun with an all-male posse in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
