Point at me and I’ll slap your face!

Oh dear! The Ruski’s are in fighting spirit, once again, and this time its not a cold war, its extremely hot!

The Russians are all up in arms at the site of an American hero, (albeit in the movies) slapping the face of a Russian soldier so now members of Russia’s Communist Party are calling for a nationwide boycott of the new Indiana Jones movie, saying it aims to undermine communist ideology and distort history.

Its appears they cant let go of a time when they believed they were the superior force throughout the world and feel it’s a ‘real slap in the face’ to see their 1950’s military , in the shape of Australian born Cate Blanchett, being ridiculed by Harrison Ford.

Throughout Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Indy keeps giving the Russians the slip, and they keep showing up again, always led by the notorious Irina Spalko, Blanchett, who lacks nothing in self-confidence or ambition, but a fair amount in scruples.

Were the Commies asleep for the James Bond movies, The Spy Who Loved Me, with Roger Moore, From Russia With Love with Sean Connery, Spice Like Us with Chevy Chase or even the Mike Myer‘s Austin Powers movies  where he spends his time ripping into Russia’s Dr Evil ? They’ve had their faces slapped and their a$$es kicked in Hollywood for decades.
