Posted under Free for All & Miley Cyrus & Avril Lavigne

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus is growing up fast…maybe too fast.
On Tuesday the 15-year-old star dropped her new single “7 Things,” a song about a particularly distressing breakup, which debuted on radio program Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo.

Cyrus sounds like a slightly-more conventional version of Avril Lavigne as she runs through a list of every irritating aspect of her ex BF: “You’re vain, your games, you’re insecure, you love me, you like her, you make me laugh you make me cry…and the 7th thing I hate the most that you do, you make me love you.”
And with other lyrics like - “It’s awkward and it’s silent, as I wait for you to say, what I need to hear now, your sincere apology, and when you mean it I’ll believe it, if you text it I’ll delete it, let’s be clear, I’m not coming back, you’re taking 7 steps here,” - it’s becoming obvious that Cyrus is maturing.
Looks like those party-hardy photos of her draped across a young man have finally been explained; not so innocent now!
